Afternoon Half Day Everglades Tour
The adventure begins as you depart in a climate-controlled vehicle, escorted by an interactive eco-trained tour guide. The guide provides full-narration of the Everglades, including facts on the distinct Eco-systems and indigenous wildlife. Guests will be educated on everything from the history of the Seminole trading business to the strong conservation efforts to save endangered species.
Guests will board authentic airboats upon arrival in the Everglades for an exhilarating ride through the backwaters of the Gulf, including mangrove tunnels and old Indian trails. The experienced airboat captains will wind through the rugged Ten Thousand Islands, revealing the hiding spots of alligators, manatee and other local inhabitants.
You will experience an authentic wildlife sanctuary, situated on 259 lush acres which are surrounded by the Big Cypress National Park. While at the sanctuary you will have the opportunity to see over 100 alligators, some of the largest crocodiles in captivity, as well as lions, tigers, a bobcat, and a reptile exhibit. All animals within the sanctuary are either rescued from their previous owners or are being cared for due to injuries.

It’s already a long drive to the Everglades so didn’t really want more time in the car.

Interactive hours of pure fun! I’ve took Disney tours that couldn’t compare with his tour. The highlight of the day could have been the 10ft gator we witnessed on the airboat however the main highlight was Kenny! I’m happily exhausted because of our man Kenny Hill. Enough said!

The cost was a little pricey which may not allow… read more families with children who are visiting naples the opportunity to take the Trolley Tour. There were no coupons or discounts . It is great that it goes to the beach but is too much for even a couple to catch it to the beach. In Bradenton there is a Trolley that will take you to the beach for free .

I booked the trip without a lot of thought (it was half day and when we could do… read more it) and didn’t realize we would get a tour — my husband and I love information and Joe had a lot of history about the people who settled the area. The air-boat was a blast but even though it stalled out in the swamp, the people we were with were enjoyable and the guide got it working again.
We could have done without the alligator interactions but otherwise, a fun trip.

Our… read more tour guide Connie was full of energy the second she stepped off the bus! She told us all about Florida’s history and fun facts the entire trip. We started with an airboat ride and it was a blast! Captain Brown was hilarious and shared so many details about the Everglades. We saw raccoons (trash pandas), alligators, dolphins, and a ton of birds and fish. After that we went to Wooten’s Animal Sanctuary & Alligator Park where we got to see Charlie (alligator) put on a show with his awesome handler, DJ! Other animals they saved were spread out around the park so we also saw turtles, lions, tigers, and otters. Plus, I got to hold three baby alligators!!! On the return trip to Marco Island, Connie stopped at the Ochopee Post Office. It’s the smallest operating post office in the US; it’s literally a shed! It was a fun trip from start to finish and we would recommend it to anyone – couples and families – looking for a unique way to see the Everglades!

Make sure you take bug spray, sunscreen and your phone is fully charged so you can take LOTS of photos! The airboat rides are a blast! Seeing the manatees and gators was fascinating but not as much as hearing Kenny’s stories! He makes this tour so worth it!!!

We stayed at the JW Marriott for our honeymoon and had Kenny Hill as our trip tour guide with the Everglades/Segway/Trolly Naples company. We wouldn’t have had the best experience… read more without Kenny! He was absolutely fantastic and went above the tour expectations, making extra stops so we could see more wildlife, manatees, the worlds smallest post office, and a wonderful hole in the wall place for lunch.
Captan. JR was also the best airboat driver at Wootons.
Overall – thee Kenny Hill was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic and was by far the best tour guide we could have asked for. A highlight on our trip!! Thank you Kenny Hill!!

But, Kenny knew a back way to the airboats and we made it on schedule. I am sure many guides would have turned around and ended the trip.
We highly recommend this trip when you are in the Marco Island area!!
